Job Description:
The maintenance position consists of a wide variety of tasks, working both independently and assisting others.
Direction is given from the plant manager and or supervisor to complete tasks.
Examples of tasks for this position may include but are not limited to the following:
Building maintenance, grounds maintenance, preventative maintenance on equipment, electrical, plumbing and painting.
This position requires previous maintenance experience.
Adhere to time schedules and follow all safety procedures set forth in the employee manual.
All work will be reviewed by the plant manager or supervisor for efficiency and accuracy.
KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
1.
Positive Attitude 2.
Electrical 3.
Mechanical 4.
Hydraulics 5.
Trouble shooting 6.
Keeping Maintenance records 7.
Driving 8.
Operation of equipment REQUIRED SKILLS AND TRAITS:
1.
Experienced (5 years or more) 2.
Ability to work independently.
3.
Forklift Operation 4.
Must have valid drivers PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1.
Intermittent periods of working outdoors 2.
Twisting, turning, reaching, and bending 3.
Must be able to lift up to 35# occasionally during the day.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
1.
Work generally performed on the shop/manufacturing floor 2.
At times working with automated and semi-automated industrial machines 3.
At times may be required to drive forklift and other company vehicles 4.
At times may be required use power equipment Salary:
$16.
00 - $18.
00 per hour Expected hours:
40 per week.
